Today, Agoura Hills has changed into a vibrant city, known for its picturesque mountain views and burgeoning live music scene.

When to Visit Agoura Hills, CA
There are no terrible times to visit Agoura Hills, as the weather remains relatively comfortable throughout the year, much like the rest of southern California. However, its location in the mountains can present temperatures closer to freezing in winter than many other neighboring areas.
If you're looking to bypass the crowds and some of the smog that blankets Los Angeles and some of the surrounding communities, head to Agoura Hills between March and May. During these months, tourism is lower and the temperatures range from 50 to 80, making it nice to walk around and explore the area. Hotel demand is typically at its lowest, as well, meaning you can score some hot deals.
From September to November, the summer crowds depart, but the nice weather remains, often hovering between 60 and 80. Like spring, this autumn weather allows you to discover everything the city has to offer. You can usually find great deals on hotel rooms due to decreased demand, especially if you plan just a few weeks in advance.
June through August brings hordes of tourists from across the world that flock to the area to experience the area's vibrant culture and excellent weather. Hotel rooms become scarce during this time, so plan accordingly.
When you want to escape cold weather, a trip to Agoura Hills is the cure. From December through February, temperatures tend to range from the 40s to the 60s, although rainfall increases. Still, it beats the weather in many other areas through the country. Cheap hotel rates during this time don't hurt either.
