Although founded in 1805, Canton wasn't officially incorporated as a village until 1822, and then again as a city in 1838. President William McKinley considered Canton his adopted home, as he first practiced law here. It's for this reason that the McKinley National Memorial and the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum are located in Canton, drawing in many visitors each year. The city also boasts five area universities, a world-class healthcare system, and beautiful green spaces in the forms of nature preservations and public parks.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to visit Canton, you'll need to find the right hotel that allow you to enjoy everything this wonderful medium-sized city has to offer.
