Beautiful Weather All Year Long in Fullerton, CA

The weather and climate in Fullerton are typical of Southern California, which is to say, the weather is fantastic almost the entire year. The summers are nice and long, with fantastically warm and comfortable temperatures. Plus, it's a dry heat, so there's no uncomfortable humidity. The average high temperature for the summers is around 90 degrees, but the breezes from the ocean make it a comfortable temperature. The area does not receive much precipitation, so most tourists won't encounter copious rain during their visit. However, it is very sunny, so bringing lots of sunscreen is a must!

Winter in Fullerton is extremely mild, which is great for guests because it means they can plan a visit at any time of year. The average low temperature in winter falls in the low 50s. It is still wonderful weather for a walk on the beach or throughout town, as long as you have a sweater with you. Even though the winters aren't considered the best tourist time, the balmy weather makes it so visitors that choose to come in the winter months are not disappointed. It also means potential visitors can book stays in the wintertime to avoid that peak season rush.

Best Hotel Discounts in Fullerton, CA

There are plenty of great ways for visitors to Fullerton to save money on their hotel fees and booking rates. All the hotel chains in the area offer standing regular discounts for AARP, AAA, and CAA members, which can mean up to 10 percent or more off the listed hotel price. All guests have to do is ask at the front desk. These hotels also have discounts for veterans, active military members, and government employees. Many of these hotels also have club cards, rewards programs, and company credit cards that can lead to free hotel stays and discounts for future bookings.

Planning is also really important when it comes to saving money on hotel costs in Fullerton. Despite the year-round nice weather, the peak visiting season is mid-June through the end of August. Prices will be higher during this time, as well as on holiday weekends. By avoiding these main dates, such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, or the Fourth of July, or by booking during the weekday rather than the weekend, guests can easily save lots of money on their hotel reservations.

Best Value Options in Fullerton, CA

There are also plenty of incredible value options in Fullerton for those that want to visit the area without seriously breaking the bank. The Fullerton Inn is a great, no-frills hotel option with summer rates of only $70 a night, which is a fabulous deal for the area. It offers the most basic of amenities, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a great option for travelers that just need a place to relax a little and sleep after an exhausting day of summer fun and sun at the beach.

Another fabulous option is the Grand Inn, with in-season rates of $70, which are again very competitive for the region. It is a good budget hotel, which offers guests all the basics they need to enjoy their time in Southern California. The staff is friendly and the hotel still provides quality toiletries, high-speed internet, and on-site parking. This is also an ideal option for single or couple travelers that are only staying a night or two, or for college students who want to save money on hotel costs.

The Willow Tree Lodge, with rates of only $75 a night, is an additional fantastic option for the budget-savvy traveler to Southern California. It's a family-owned establishment that prides itself on clean and comfortable rooms as well as friendly service.

Again, it is important to remember that planning is necessary when it comes to saving money while booking a vacation in Southern California. Prices fluctuate all the time, so travelers should remember to stay on top of their hotel searches to make sure they are getting the most inexpensive deal on their hotel rates. Furthermore, booking in advance is another great way to save even more money in the long run.

The oil boom of the 1990s turned the city into an industrial center until the many hotels in Fullerton downtown areas turned it into an entertainment and shopping center as well. The city has over 50 parks including the 26-acre Fullerton Arboretum. It is well known for its alternate music groups with Fender producing some of the most fancied electric guitars. Visitors have many places to visit including the Fullerton Public library and Muckenthaler Cultural Center.

2 Budget Hotels For Local Entertainment

2 Luxury Hotels Near Major Amusement Centers

Disney Amusement parks and attractions are major attractions in the area, which is why luxury Fullerton hotels are located on the way to the popular tourist destination. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Anaheim - Excellent accommodation provided by the hotel interest professionals looking for short stays. Spacious and clean rooms are offered. It is close to tourist spots such as Brea Mall and CSU Fullerton. The breakfast buffet table is always busy. Fullerton Marriott at California State University - The hotel was refurbished at the end of 2015 and offers spacious suites with separate bedrooms. It is located within the California State University campus with several dining and shopping options. Visitors travelling to Disney will find the place very convenient, as it takes only about 15 minutes by car to reach the popular amusement park.

Two Boutique Hotels With A Twist

Hotels are usually booked to gain quick access to the amusement park; however, there are a few boutique Fullerton hotels that provide luxury as well as unique attractions counting them among popular properties around the city. The Hotel Fullerton Anaheim - It has an excellent food service. The hotel has an hourly shuttle bus taking guests around a 5-mile radius to popular downtown restaurants and shopping areas. People can use to use the shuttle bus to Disney Amusement parks and attractions. Howard Johnson Inn Fullerton Hotel And Conference Center - The popular hotel has king-size beds and a decent conference center. Again, it is close to the popular Disneyland and like other hotels in Fullerton banks heavily on providing quick service and amenities to accommodate large crowds.
