The Top Notch restaurant is just a few miles away from hotel. Good food, reasonable prices and good portions.
It was close to the expressway with easy on/off ramps. Restaurants nearby and places to shop if you needed to pick up something you forgot or needed.

Convenient to Munster where we were visiting relatives.
We attended a wedding and ate at a lovely restaurant for breakfast.
I did not get to enjoy much as this was a business trip, but stores, restaurants and conveniences are all nearby. I did drive north to see Lake Michigan and the city of Whiting has a great new waterfront park area.
