The Cartwright Hotel is a solid option for groups wanting to be in the center of Union Square action. They offer affordable rates for the city and have good, easy style. Their accommodations and amenities are quite nice, albeit very basic. This is a professional and quiet hotel for a business meeting, but perhaps not my #1 choice for a social event. Groups will find no problems with this property, and enjoy walking merely 1 block to Union Square and other attractions without paying an exorbitant price.

It's very convenient to the cable car to Union Square. Very safe area. I love staying here. Everybody is so great and it's very clean.
