Unlike other California cities, though, Norco focuses on its horses. You may find more horse trails than sidewalks here! The architecture also reflects a Western theme. The city got its start on Mother's Day in 1923. However, it was not incorporated as a city until December 1964.
When would be the best time to visit the town of Norco, CA?
Whether you're heading to California for business or on vacation, you're likely looking forward to pleasant weather. Norco, which is found in Riverside County, southeast of Los Angeles, experiences warm winters and hot summers. Keep this in mind when planning your ideal trip.
The spring season feels moderate in Norco, with high temperatures ranging from the low 70s to low 80s and increasing from March through May. Norco rarely gets rain in these months. Therefore, it's no wonder that spring is the second-busiest tourist season in the area. You'll find lots to do in the area, but you may run into higher prices on flights and accommodations as a result.
The summer months, June through August, are the busiest time of year in this area. Accommodations may cost more than they usually do, and don't be surprised if you run into bigger crowds. After all, the region sees hot temperatures and almost no precipitation during this period, so it's peak time for tourism.
If you're looking for deals on your trip, fall offers some interesting opportunities. Tourism is slower, but temperatures still feel comfortable — September through November offer daily highs ranging from the mid-90s to low to mid 70s. You may find that your favorite hotels offer lower prices in the fall.
Likewise, winter in Norco is the slowest period for tourism. The weather gets cooler from December through February; high temperatures range from the mid- to upper 60s to the lower 70s. That said, if you live in a colder region, it's a great time of year to escape the bitter winter cold elsewhere while potentially nabbing great deals in Norco.
