What make Vintro unique? 2216 Park Avenue - an address that has always played an important role in the history of Miami Beach. The interesting combination of old-school Miami Beach and contemporary South Beach makes Vintro Hotel & Kitchen the most representative hotel of the Collins Park Neighborhood. The building was originally opened as the Park Avenue Hotel on July 30th, 1934. During World War 2, the hotel did its part, housing some of the 50,000 troops trained for Air Corps service. After the War, the Park Avenue Hotel added a restaurant and became one of the hot spots for Miami's elite - home of the Bill Jordan's Piano Bar, El Chico discotheque, and Connie Gordon's School of Arts. The hotel later closed for many years until, exactly 80 years to the day from the original building's opening, Vintro brought back the historic charm and opened one of the top hotel destinations in Miami Beach.
