We often have to spend a night for early appts. at Mayo and need a clean, quiet and friendly place to spend the night. After staying at a few other places, we tried Candlewood Suites in 2025. Such a nice room with two comfortable beds and a kitchenette with dishes and even a dishwasher! If you have a special diet, or just want to make your own food instead of eating out every meal, this is the place to stay. The cost is comparable to all the other chain hotels, but we believe we are getting a better value.
When we have appointments at Mayo Clinic and need to stay overnight we always chose to stay at Candlewood Suites.
