All the people we met at the restaurants, shops, hotel, and concert were friendly and helpful, From the young waitress at Golden Fleece, to our waiter at Pegasus. Everyone seemed so genuine and nice. Even the bartender at the Detroit Music Hall, who was totally swamped, was kind and friendly. The Midwest-friendly makes a difference and really added to our stay.

I was impressed with the city of Detroit. It was clean. It was quiet and free of bombs in every corner like most big cities. Everyone we encountered was friendly, and I did not have any problems walking around throughout the city exploring.
