Driving in the area was interesting. Either completely normal (like from Midwest normal) or even worse than Tampa, where I now live. Not nearly as developed (yet) as Tampa so enjoyed the rural landscape of the west side.
We went to the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing, open spaces with the animals. We also ate at the original Bono's....delicious!

It's clean and quiet, and most of the fast food and grocery stores were close by were I was staying.
Didn't see much of it. Went for a football game so only stayed right around the hotel and football stadium.
The public library was awesome! We also liked the architectural details of the older buildings scattered within the city. The plaza park was very nice also.
