Lafayette is my home town so I have nothing but good things to say about it. You'll be hard pressed to find a lousy restaurant anywhere in the city. St. John's Cathedral is magnificent and that oak tree out front will take your breath away! The campus of ULL is truly lovely and Lafayette is centrally located to many of the area attractions like swamp tours out of Breach Bridge. The po-boys at Olde Tyme Grocery are spectacular! The food! The people! The atmosphere! The music! What's NOT to like?! Allons à Lafayette!
