Payson is a very friendly town. There is great restaurants and antique stores which I love. There is also a beautiful park called Green Valley Park that has a beautiful lake and a great walking area. There is also the Zane Grey museum and gift shop. Every year they have a great fireworks show at the park. There are lots of activities and you can set up your pop up for the day and there are food trucks and vendors. Tonto National Bridge state park is great hiking and the beauty all around. Also the Mongolian Rim is also amazing. Our favorite place to stay is the Majestic Mountain Inn. Just about every place is dog friendly and the dog park is really nice.

The coffee is so good and you can tell they take pride in the beans they use to make it. The people are so nice and there's room to work with free Wi-Fi.
Another place that is great is a coffee/tea shop named the Shroom Room. All their products are infused with different mushrooms that have different properties. They also have gummies, tinctures, lotions, etc. that are shroom infused for their health properties. Very welcoming place and highly recommended!
