Carolina Beach is just the right size and fits our every need when we want to visit a beach. It's a short drive to Wilmington and Fort Fischer. We love taking the ferry to Southport. The beach is clean and overall very family friendly. Shopping and places to eat are great as well.

Friendly people. Great restaurants, traffic is better than most beach towns. CB is smaller and less crazy than Myrtle Beach with more to do than Outer Banks. The boardwalk is great place to walk around in the evening. Britt's donuts tops it all. Yum!
