We'd like to mention Helicon Brewing as another great example of a local business bringing people together. It offers a 48 seat taproom and a variety of delicious craft beers for its guests. They don't serve food, just snacks like pretzels. However, they actively encourage visitors to order food from local restaurants that deliver to the brewery or even bring your own home-cooked food, which just adds to the spirit of togetherness and heartwarming atmosphere of the place. The name “Helicon” is derived from the historical name of the plot of land on which the brewery stands today. The land was initially named Mt. Helicon in 1778. In Greek mythology, it is the home of the muses.
