The Stonewall Jackson Hotel & Conference Center completed a $21.1 million renovation and expansion project in October 2005 which preserves the hotel’s historic character while providing guests with modern amenities, services and accommodations.
The hotel’s complete refurbishment includes 124 deluxe guestrooms comprised of 52 double queen and 72 king rooms, including four suites, a business center, fitness room, indoor pool with whirlpool and guest laundry facilities. One of the key historical and sentimental features of the hotel is its 1924 Wurlitzer Organ, which is a one-of-a-kind musical instrument. The organ, which graced the Hotel’s Colonnade Ballroom for three quarters of a century, has been precisely restored to its original condition and tone.
