We were here for 5 days to visit our son and his family in the area. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but we were very pleased. I am a stickler for cleanliness and the room exceeded my expectations. The location of the room was as requested and was very quiet. The breakfast was tasty and my husband loved the fact he could make his own waffles every morning. I am doing low carb and there was always an egg and meat for me to enjoy. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The grab and go breakfast made it very convenient for the days we needed to take a snack along with us. The hotel personnel were very courteous and were always smiling! We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to San Antonio. « less

We were here for a few days to celebrate Fiesta. We spent little time in the room but when we did, we were pleased with the cleanliness. The location of our room was exactly what we had asked for. Our room was a nice size and kept for the most part, spotless. Our room was also quiet and we barely heard anyone else even though the hotel was sold out. We did not eat there so I am unable to comment on the breakfast. The bed was OK..not the best Hampton one, but not the worst either. Hoping they do the Hampton Inn upgrades to the beds soon. The bathroom was clean, but why oh why do they caulk around mold? The mold eventually comes out. I've noticed this in many brands of hotels, so its not a first. I just wish they would stay on top of mold and then this would never have to bother someone. My only other request would be to add a refridgerator and a microwave to the rooms. All of the brand in this price range offer this now. I would definitely stay here again though. It was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed this hotel. « less

When entering the room, my wife and I noticed a weird, musty smell, but we soon became used to it and chalked it up to simply a "warm room" so didn't feel the need to report it. We weren't in the room very long, as we had a wedding to leave for after about an hour after checkin. We returned to the room around 11:00 and soon after went to bed. The bed was not at all up to my usual experience with Hampton Inns; VERY dissappointing. I don't know if this hotel missed the boat on the Bed Upgrades, but this bed was horrible compared to other Hamptons I've stayed in over the years. This was one of the reasons I wanted to stay in a Hampton Inn. In the morning, as we were about to leave, I went over to turn the Air Conditioner unit off, and noticed, with the sun now illuminating the vents, great amount of mold on the Evaporator Coils; the likely reason for the musty smell when we initially entered the room. « less
