Recent traveler guest reviews of Fredericksburg, VA

Below are reviews of the city of Fredericksburg, VA from an actual visitor's perspective.

"Right off Highway"
Score 4.0 / 5

While the hotel doesn't have an on-site restaurant it is right off US1 that has multiple fast food places and restaurants. The hotel is in the same shopping center as the Cracker Barrel, which is in walking distance. The Cracker Barrel is a wonderful place to rock in wicker chairs, play barrel chess or admire the garden before or after a hearty meal. A subway and a Chinese restaurant are in the same complex without getting back on US1 or 95. The heart of Fredericksburg is less than 15 miles away. It was very close to the neighborhoods of the families we were visiting.

Jeaunice P., from 21-Jul-2014
"Civil War History"
Score 4.0 / 5

Excellent choice of restaurants and tour options. Right in the middle of so much Civil War history, it was the perfect location for our group to tour.

Gail B., from 07-May-2014
"Fredericksburg and DC in One Swoop"
Score 4.0 / 5

We took a trolley tour of Fredericksburg which was interesting learning the highlights of the city. We also went to a dinner theater. The next day we went to DC and toured the Ford theater and some of the memorials. It was nice to be close enough to DC to take a day to tour and come back to Fredericksburg and tour there the next day.
