The revamped Union Ice Gardens are nice but just down Union St is the Mither Kirk with its ancient cemetery. The Maritime Museum is great as is the city art gallery. All within a 15 walk from the hotel.

Nature and good weather.
It was a walking holiday. We traveled early morning visiting Edzell and Cruden Bay and got back until 6 o'clock, never got to see much of Aberdeen.

Aberdeen is a lovely city and has great people. Transport system is very good with good bus services with the Aberdeen area. Trains services are good also. There is good shopping in Aberdeen. you would not be disappointed.

I have always liked Aberdeen because it was my grandfather's home city. I like the sea air and the way the granite buildings sparkle in the sun.
