It's not unusual for daytime temperatures in the summer to reach well over 90 degrees.
The rainiest month of the year is August, with almost one out of three days seeing rain. July and April are wetter months as well. Snowfall peaks in December through March, with most of the snowfall occurring in just a few days.

Castle Rock has a small town feel-I am from one-with the amenities of a larger town. We enjoyed the small shops and many eating choices. There is also an outlet mall and while my husband waited for me to check a few shops he visited with locals. Friendly people, yes :)
