Home of the largest single-site brewery in the world. Adolph Coors established the Coors brewery in Golden in 1873 on the banks of Clear Creek. Today, MillerCoors is the second largest beer company in America, capturing nearly 30 present of US beer sales. The Coors Brewery Tour attracts 300,000 visitors to Golden each year. Tours are free of charge. After the tour, visitors can view old photos and shop in the Coors & Co gift shop.
