Great restaurants
Wakefield is a quaint area.
The room was clean, comfortable. The staff was friendly. First of all, Wakefield is close to some of the best beaches in the world. Seriously, as a Navy wife, I have been to beaches from Maine to Florida and Cape Cod to San Diego and Hawaii. RI beaches are the best! Old Wakefield is a very nice little town and very walkable. It has some great little shops and Brickley's ice cream is awesome. The Green Line Apothecary is wonderful; love the combination of traditional and naturopathic products. There are some great restaurants in town and many more nearby. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.
Close to Newport.
Wakefield is a very authentic New England town. Love the local bars, eateries and glass blowing place!
Area is historic, quaint and close to the beach!
