When planning a trip to West Houston, find out what events and happenings are going on in Houston, as these can impact hotel rates for the entire area. The city's proximity to the Gulf of Mexico means the weather is warm all year, but the temperatures are most pleasant from February to April and September to November. If you're trying to score discounted rates, head to West Houston during the summer. It's much warmer and more humid, but residents often head out of town so the hotel prices are lower.
