We were only passing through Summersville to get to Flatwoods/Sutton. The area where the hotel was located seemed safe had a number of food and shopping options. The land was clean as in there weren't plastic bags floating past you in the wind
Many things to see and places to shop without having to travel for miles between location. Lots of options for restaurants. Everybody we had communication with was very friendly and helpful.

We have friends that camp on the lake and we have the boat. So much fun. We also like the flea market coming into town.
