MACKINAW CITY IS AN AWESOME PLACE TO VISIT.
Audie's bar and grill was within easy walking distance as was the park across the street and a gift shop or two. Downtown Mackinaw city was an easy, quick drive with a few restaurants, ice cream and fudge shops and many different touristy gift shops. The shuttle was easy and often to ferry over to the island.

Mackinaw City was a fun town. We took Shepler's to go to Mackinac Island, which was great. There were lots of nice stores in town. Darrow's Restaurant is great. We ate there several times and every meal was very good. Everyone was very friendly.
Here for the sailboat race. Lots of good whitefish restaurants. Merrill store should not be missed!
