Waterbury is a quaint older town with some Italian architecture that is appealing today. Once known as the brass city for the production of industrial brass products.

The desk clerk recommended a restaurant down the road from the hotel. It was a warm and welcoming experience. The bread was delicious and the waitress was VERY friendly! Not overpriced.
I found the lil town charming with beautiful churches, great eating places too.
