Orville is home to a regional campus University of Akron - Wayne College. Wayne College is a two-year public institution of higher education in Orrville, Ohio. The college offers associate degrees and certificates and baccalaureate-oriented preparation and degrees in more than 70 areas of study. It enrolls over 1500 students each semester and is led by a board of knowledgeable faculty. Several historic buildings are situated on the college grounds. They were repurposed for classes and student recreational facilities. One of them is Barnet-Hoover Farmhouse, the original homestead of the property built around 1818.

We always stop and visit the Smucker's store and Christmas shop there. We usually don't have time to visit other places in town, but the town itself is very quaint.
