The Inn is within a decent walking distance of shops and restaurants. People were friendly and helpful. Coffee and community at the Happy Bean. Love the apothecary-Old Mr. Bailiwick's, Paragraphs Bookstore and The Alcove Restaurant.
Mt. Vernon is a sweet town in Ohio. The places we visited were always neat and clean. We loved the shops downtown and the town square.
Charming! Was only able to drive through Mt. Vernon. Looking forward to exploring it more.

The cleanliness of the town, the Kokosing Bike Trail, The Ariel grounds and tower, the downtown dog fountain and Flappers Bar & Grill. The fish platter was excellent!
Everyone was kind! The traffic wasn't rushed and people honking horns like at home. Everyone is much more patient! I grew up there and my sister and I returned for a trip down memory lane. We were happy to see the town is thriving! We so enjoyed the shops around the square! Of course we had to dine at the Alcove! It was a childhood fave!

Shopping local art. Shop employees gave us lots of history information and were supportive of each other. We ate at three locally owned restaurants and all were excellent.

We drove around and did some shopping. We ventured into Mt. Vernon, saw the glass park and farmers market and ate at Flappers.

Petty neat small town with a beautiful park where Pittsburgh Plate Glass once had a glass manufacturing facility. The town is spread out and I know has a lot more to see than we had time to visit.
Beautiful brick/cobblestone streets and lovely historic buildings and friendly people. Tim Hortons coffee was an added bonus!!
