Four buildings in Napoleon are listed on the National Register of Historic Places: The County Courthouse, The Sheriff's Residence and Jail, First Presbyterian Church, and St. Augustine's Catholic Church.

You can rent shelters at Wayne and Ritter Parks or near the Rotary-Lions Community Center. You'll also be able to take a nice peaceful walk along the Maumee River in Meyerholtz Park or find a serene, secluded spot in the Day Light Falls.

There are several wineries in the area that you just can't miss while you're around here. The Lumberyard Winery and Supply is situated near the city's downtown in a historic lumberyard on the bank of the Maumee River. Its location provides fantastic views and perfect surroundings for a relaxing evening with some wine. You could settle down with a glass of your favorite wine and some appetizers at the main building or, during warmer months, enjoy some fresh air at the covered patio converted from an old lumber storage building.

Leisure Time Winery Napoleon is another excellent option. It is a ten-minute drive outside of the city, on Brubaker Creek. It is a cozy family-owned winery that since 2002 has just continued to grow and prosper.
They also offer craft beer, spirits, and delicious food, apart from wine.
In addition, Leisure Time accompanies various joyous moments of the local community, like weddings, baby showers, and more.

The town is also home to various events and festivals throughout the year, including a farmers market, a carnival, and a Christmas parade.
