Plenty of places to see and great restaurants to try. Not too close to the NYC hustle bustle, but close enough to get there by car, bus, or train.

Rockaway is conveniently located near Route 80. The Rockaway Mall has shopping and food options.

There's a bowling alley, a small mall, and an AMC theatre. It's definitely a low key city.
