When to Visit Thousand Oaks, CA
Because Thousand Oaks is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, you can expect Thousand Oaks to be busy during the same parts of the year that Los Angeles sees the most crowds. Spring offers pretty weather, not much rain, and lower hotel rates. Summer is peak season, so unless you want to pay extra for a hotel room, you should plan your trip for another time. However, summer is also the driest season, so it's your best bet for avoiding the rain. Winter in Thousand Oaks is wet, though average high temperatures remain in the 60s, so at least the weather isn't too cold.
