The weather in Biloxi ranges from pleasantly tropical to stormy to cool, so be sure to check the weather report before packing your bags. If you don't mind hot, humid days for the beach as well as warm nights, book your trip between mid-May and August and plan to spend a bit more on hotel rooms.
For warm but occasionally stormy weather, visit Biloxi between late August and October. During the fall, the crowds thin out and hotels drop their prices, but the area is also prone to the whims of the Atlantic hurricane season. The weather calms down between November and April, but the offseason tends to be downright cool. If you want to save money and don't mind missing the beach, winter to early spring is the ideal time to visit.
Paying full price for a hotel room can really cramp your vacation style. Fortunately, you'll find several discounts on hotels throughout the Biloxi area. Hotels like the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel D'Iberville and the Days Inn Moss Point Pascagoula reserve rooms for military members and government employees for a guaranteed rate.
If you're a member of AAA, you'll typically save five to ten percent on room rates at the Super 8 D'Iberville/Biloxi Area and the Best Western Plus Seaway Inn. As an AARP member or a senior traveler, save about 10 percent at hotels like the Residence Inn by Marriott Gulfport-Biloxi Airport or the Courtyard by Marriott Gulfport Beachfront.

When you're looking for some action, swim some laps in the outdoor pool, go shopping, or head to the casino. With five restaurants, three lounges, and a poolside bar, you'll never go hungry or thirsty at Harrah's.
Just north of interstate 10, the Best Western Plus Cypress Creek features spacious rooms for a smart price. Choose from queen or king rooms or suites, and add amenities like a Jacuzzi tub or a mini fridge. All 90 rooms come with pillow-top beds, MP3 docking stations, and free wireless Internet connections. Start your day with the complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet, and work it off with some sightseeing, a workout in the fitness center, or a few laps in the hotel's outdoor pool.

Located in the heart of nearby Gulfport, the Wingate by Wyndham Gulfport MS is convenient to Gulfport Harbor and the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. Stay in one of the 80 guestrooms, and make yourself at home with a microwave and refrigerator. Work out in the on-site fitness center, cool off in the outdoor pool, and start your day with a free continental breakfast.
When you visit Biloxi, you'll have Gulf Coast culture, beaches, and casinos all nearby. Get a feel for the area at the Biloxi Lighthouse, a local landmark that offers popular daily tours. Learn about Biloxi's history at the Beauvoir House, the former home of Jefferson Davis, and don't miss the neighboring Civil War museum. For a modern-day look at the Biloxi area, pay a visit to the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum, which features contemporary art exhibitions.
Head to Biloxi's many casinos, and try your luck and skill at spots like the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi and the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Most casinos were rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005, so the casino area has a fresh, new feel despite its long history of entertaining visitors from far and wide.
Whether you're planning an event or traveling for fun, Biloxi is a smart choice. Save on offseason rates at luxury hotels, or spend a little more and enjoy the summertime gulf beach vacation you've been dreaming of.
