Grand junction has grown a lot since I lived here in 2008. It has gotten much busier with traffic and the number of people. There are many more restaurants so there are numerous dining options.
The downtown is charming with many delightful shops and delicious restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The arts sculpture variety all along the shaded walking paths are wonderful.

Grand Junction has a charming main street that is straight out of the 1960's. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and has outstanding public art sculptures displayed all over the little downtown.

Went to Colorado National Monument and was stunned at the views. Had great sushi at Suehiro Japanese Restaurant downtown. It was worth the 30 min. wait. Also had great coffee all over town and even caught a movie at the Pictureshow Theater when we were too tired for anything else. Terrific trip with my daughter looking at the college.
