Visiting Moreno Valley is always a good idea, but you'll want to be prepared for the weather. Like most Inland Empire cities, Moreno Valley experiences a semi-arid climate with hot summers and rainy winters.
From July through September, daily highs usually top out in the mid-90s, and the area receives virtually no rain. If you're looking for sunny skies and hot weather, summer is the perfect time to visit. If you prefer milder weather, however, set your sights on the spring or fall, when high temperatures usually top out in the upper 70s or low 80s.
In the winter, high temperatures usually top out in the upper 60s, and rainy days are relatively common. December is the wettest month by far, although January and February also receive their fair share of rainy days.
You'll usually find the lowest hotel rates in the winter, thanks to the rainy weather. Although spring and fall are the most popular times to visit Moreno Valley, you can also score great hotel deals during peak season. Make sure to plan ahead and look for discounts to find the lowest prices on Moreno Valley accommodations.
