Western Michigan University is a beautiful campus and close to the hotel.
I liked all the little shops and parks within walking distance of the hotel. We explored and found a good pizza place, lots to do and discover outside the hotel. The museum was closed by the time we seen they had one but that was also in walking distance.
Kazoo is a great city!
Downtown Kalamazoo is very nice. There are some wonderful restaurants and bars. We went to Hopcat for dinner. Food was delicious and the staff was very helpful with the menu. I wanted to try a beer before ordering one and I was given a tasting.
I love Kalamazoo, I visit often. The people are great, always something to do. Food is great especially Bimbo's pizza in downtown, some of the best pizza I've ever had and the staff is absolutely amazing.

Kalamazoo is a great university town and the Kalamazoo Walking Mall is a fun way to spend an afternoon. There's a great candy shop, spice shop, cafes, and places to eat.
Kalamazoo has a lot of good restaurants and activities like the Air Zoo.

I've been to Kalamazoo many times. It is a cool town with old homes and an architecturally interesting downtown.
We had a wonderful day at Bittersweet Ski Resort! Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The food in the grill was far superior to what one normally gets in this kind of situation. And the place was packed…and the waitress pleasant and efficient.

The expo center is a great place to hold a trade show. The parking is great and the venue lends itself to many different types of shows. Getting around Kalamazoo is a little difficult, but we did find a nice Mexican restaurant to eat at.
