When to Visit Longmont, Colorado
If you want to go skiing, go in January, February, or March. Room rates will be higher because many people know that this is the best time of year for powdery snow, but if you can stay during the week instead of on the weekend you might be able to find a deal. Summer is also peak tourist season because Colorado's weather is gorgeous from June through August. If you're a fan of hiking and other outdoor activities, make a visit in the summer even though Longmont experiences a spike in hotel rates.
The most inexpensive time to visit is spring or fall, when the weather gets rainy and the temperature fluctuates considerably. As long as you pack a variety of clothes, you should be fine.
