The Chinatown district features eateries, shops, and entertainment destinations that rival those in Manhattan's Chinatown. Many of the business owners in this neighborhood prove extremely competitive, which means great prices for visitors who are willing to haggle. If you're planning a vacation to New York, skip Manhattan and head to Queens. The Flushing community will welcome you with open arms. In the meantime, start looking for the perfect Flushing hotel for your visit.
Best Time to Visit Flushing, NY
If you want to visit Flushing on the cheap, shoot for a winter vacation. Avoid late December and early January to steer clear of the holiday rush and heightened hotel prices. The rest of the winter, however, will bring discounts on Broadway shows, hotel rooms, museums, and other city venues. You'll also catch beautiful holiday displays, and if you're interested in snow, you won't be disappointed.
Alternatively, consider a spring vacation if you're interested in better weather and more abundant outdoor activities. Flushing shops often run sales and clearances during spring, so you'll catch great deals in local retail outlets, and it becomes easier to score reservations at the borough's nicest restaurants. While summers boast even better temperatures, you're likely to confront crowded entertainment venues and scarce hotel rooms, so make sure to book your reservations early.

However, when you step into your room, you'll find modern design touches in every detail, from the clean lines of the simple headboards to the soft pops of color against the otherwise neutral palette.
You'll get a Rise and Dine continental breakfast every morning, which includes delicious treats like baked goods and sugary cereals. You can choose from several room configurations, which include queen, king, and twin beds, and there's an on-site shuttle service that will take you anywhere you want to go for a flat rate of $25 per trip.
