For the best hotel rates of the year, you want to visit Clive in the winter. Just keep in mind that to take advantage of these low prices, you'll have to deal with cold temperatures and snow. Luckily, plenty of indoor attractions stay open in winter, so you'll still find things to do during your visit.
If you're planning a visit to Clive from March to May, you'll experience pleasant and mild temperatures. Average highs in March start out in the upper 40s, but by May they'll get up into the low 70s. The area sees frequent thunderstorms during this season, so be sure to pack a raincoat. While hotels will slowly start to raise prices as it gets later in spring, you won't start seeing high summer prices until the end of May.
