Franklin, Tennessee, is a clean city with plenty of things to do. Great places to eat, and it still has a full Mall with plenty of other shopping places in the area. There are plenty of things to do (Carlton Plantation and Civil War cemetery) in the area, and it's a good location near Nashville. It is a two-hour drive to the Rocket City (Huntsville, AL)

We were there to visit Civil War sites about the Battle of Franklin. These were significant and worth the trip.
