Downtown Windsor is absolutely stunning! Paved walkway all along the Detroit River. Grab a coffee at the Caesar's Palace Casino. Downtown parking was considerably inexpensive which is great for families travelling. The parks (and there are many) along the paved walkway were stunning; from flowers, to sculptures, to sitting areas and swings.

I like the nightlife! There are lots of things open late at night (bars, lounges, restaurants). The shore of the river is nice to check out.

The hockey arena facilities are huge and nice! They are complete with recreational pools and gyms specifically the WFRC and the ATC. We came to the city for a hockey tournament and were really impressed.

Hotel is next to the border of Detroit. My husband and I crossed the border as a tourists. We hand fun.
