We loved spending time in town as well. Seeing the matinee performance of A Christmas Carol next door was a highlight and made the visit feel especially festive. Dinner at Zynodoa was divine, its farm to table focus is something we truly appreciate, and we're hopeful the new chef works out well. We were disappointed to find Reunion Bakery closed for two weeks (!), since we were craving our favorite croissants and coffee, but By & By came through with excellent bagel sandwiches, so we were more than happy to adapt. Staunton is a charming, walkable town with great food, culture, and an easygoing pace that makes it a pleasure to visit.
The city is beautiful and most welcoming especially the lady at the Visitor's center with whom I spoke.

Convenient location to restaurants and eateries
I want to come back and look around the town more. It looks like there is a lot to do.
We always enjoy in going to the Mill house restaurant when in Staunton. We also try to hit the Factory antiques flea market. Very big market.
The staff was cordial, the the room was clean with fresh towels and a nice clean shower. The temperature controls worked well and the bed was wonderful. The continental breakfast was fully stocked and fresh and delicious.

Staunton has good eating places
Staunton is the former home of my wife, Joan. There is a large antique mall at Verona, Va. We also visited a friend at a nice independent living facility.
We always go to Chili's with our dog and sit out back on our long journey from New England to Atlanta.

I spent a few hours at the Frontier Culture Museum. I would have liked to have had more time there.
