The Steubenville center is around the area of Downtown Steubenville and the area of Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Below are reviews of the city of Steubenville, OH from an actual visitor's perspective.
This isn't about Steubenville and I don't know where to send this to but hoping this gets to the right place. When I booked this reservation, I went online and went to, what I thought, was Best Western's website and called the number listed there. When I checked in, I asked if I could have the senior citizen discount and they said I had booked through a third party venue so that wasn't an option. I had no idea that I was booking through a third party venue and I do not understand how it is even legal for the third part vendor to present themselves as Best Western. I don't even want to know how much extra I ended up having to pay because of this but I am not pleased.
My dad was originally from there, his family stayed in Steubenville while he moved to Cleveland for college after WW II, so I am familiar. Easy to get around, nice restaurants, even sheriff's deputies were very helpful when I had business at the courthouse.
We were there for the Nutcracker Village experience and it was cute. We stopped at Leonardo's coffeehouse downtown and had a nice cup of coffee. Coming from a large metropolitan area ( Detroit), the whole downtown area was quaint.
I love Steubenville it's a great town, I'm a townie so no place like home!

The Franciscan University of Steubenville is like a shining diamond on the hill. It's holy ground and a powerhouse of Dynamic Catholic Orthodoxy.
Beautiful river and wooded hills.
Very close to Steubenville Campus for Mass service and the community of people are friendly and kind.
Fort Steuben, Union Cemetery, Leonards, Nutcrackers, Nelsons, and overall setting.
