The town of Swarthmore is charming; a couple of interesting shops; some cool restaurants, and, of course, the College with its dramatic buildings and walking trails.

There is an excellent food co-op in Swarthmore, and Hobbs is a terrific coffee house. Easy to hop on the SEPTA train to Philadelphia.
