It was fine.
We were just passing through, plenty of restaurants to choose from.
We did not see much of the town but has several major retail stores like WalMart and Lowes. Ate breakfast at Jo Ann Restaurant and were very pleased with food, prices, and service was great. People friendly. Would stop there again.

Española is small and easy to navigate. The proximity to Bandelier is wonderful.
