The Geneseo center point is about 1 mile east of Historical Aircraft Group Geneseo and 4 miles west of Deer Run Winery.
Below are reviews of the city of Geneseo, NY from an actual visitor's perspective.
The town of Geneseo is a mix between the small town you imagine when you think of an All-American place and one with all the modern conveniences. I have lived here for over twenty years, which has given me plenty of time to see what it truly is. It has a large Walmart, one of the best supermarkets in the country, 24-hour laundromats, several pizza shops, and pretty much anything you could want, all within about a one-mile radius. It is a college town, and the college kids are around most of the year. They are not annoying, but instead act civilized while still enjoying themselves. There is a main street with private shops and eateries. I have walked around many times between 1 AM and 3 AM, making a large circle around town, up and down the smaller streets as well as the main ones, and have always felt safe. I like the town so much that I am debating whether I should post this or not, because I kind of like the idea of it remaining the same.
Homey w/nice variety of merchants. Easy parking.
My daughter goes to Suny! We loved visiting the bars in town!
Lots of coffee places and restaurants!
The food and employees were amazing!
Lots to do. College town. Community oriented.
Love Geneseo, but I'm a local. I needed an overnight hotel stay due to some home improvements. We have country living with beautiful rolling hills, small college town with all the amenities you need. Wegmans. Letchworth State Park. Conesus Lake (Finger Lakes - wine country) what's not to love1
Beautiful area!
