The Henry Clay inn is a replica of the former Henry Clay Hotel which burned to the ground in 1946. Since rebuilding in 91 we have offered exceptional accommodations with all modern amenities. Our 14 well appointed guest rooms and suites offer private bathrooms, continental buffet breakfast, wireless internet, all amenities that you find elsewhere. Additional amenities found in all rooms are telephones, color cable tv, hair driers, iron/ironing board and coffee makers. Some rooms and suites will have refrigerators or wet bars, dvd players and jacuzzis or whirlpool tub. While staying with us, enjoy one of our grand porches or perhaps by the fireplace in the intimate parlor. Be sure to check out the local artwork on display in our gift shop and drawing room. Only 15 minutes north of Richmond, Ashland is the heart of Virginia. Williamsburg and Fredericksburg are an hour's drive away or if you choose to hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains or go swimming in the Atlantic Ocean at Virginia Beach, both are within a two hour's drive.
