I live in Georgetown and stayed at this hotel because my air conditioner was out and I was waiting for repair folks. I like the small town feel and it's just outside of Austin, which is where I'm actually from.

Sweet town with a lot of old buildings. It is apparent they take pride in their history and great little town. I went to the HEB to get a few things, I couldn't believe the number of people shopping there. It reminded me Saturday morning shopping 55 years ago at Safeway or Brookshires. Really enjoyed the town.

It is a beautiful and interesting old county-seat town with wonderful old buildings that are very well preserved and very picturesque! Many very good restaurants and interesting shops. Southwestern University is there and it one of the top liberal arts institutions in the nation with a beautiful campus.
