The downtown Tacoma has many wonderful museums and great restaurants. The children's museum has hands on learning experiences. Lemays car museum is a hit. Northwest trek and wildlife park is a must see and try their zip lines.

The city is a great place to visit. There are museums of all kind (art, history, glass), great zoo and aquarium and the dining variety. Yes, visit Seattle but Tacoma has its own culture which is worth exploring.
