Travel overview of Seatac, WA

Sitting amidst the suburbs of Seattle, SeaTac enjoys the best of both worlds. The name itself is a mixture between Seattle and Tacoma, two of Washington's major cities. SeaTac can be accessed through the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, occupying a third of the city's 10 square miles. The small city in Washington is served by the communities of Riverton, McMicken, Bow Lake, and Angle Lake. Incorporated 22 years ago, the city of SeaTac boasts of numerous improved roadways. The North SeaTac Park has 165 acres of space for recreation. Tourists visit the city to see the rugged unpaved paths of the Military Road, experience the 300-year old Native American Canoes and Angle Lake, or simple laze by the saltwater shorelines. Guests can choose from numerous Parks, such as the valley Ridge, Sunset, McMicken Heights, Bow Lake, Angle Lake, and Grandview Park. SeaTac may be the simplest getaway available in Washington, but that's exactly what tourists tired of the city's hustle and bustle need.

'And if you don't believe the sun will rise, stand alone and greet the coming night in the last remaining light.'

These are the words of Chris Cornell, one of Seattle's favorite son's and the lead singer of the band Soundgarden. This is a fair impression of the SeaTac area, but as a destination it is very unique. The area is where Seattle and Tacoma meet, but it is its own unique area that appeals to tourists as there well known hotels in SeaTac. This city is a land of lakes and pure urban ingenuity and some very interesting views for those who like a good horizon.

Sleeping Cheap in SeaTac

If a person is visiting SeaTac and looking for any budget SeaTac hotels the city provides them with a number of options. The Travelodge Sea-Tac Airport North, which as the name implies is located right next to the airport and consequently is built to be inexpensive and too cater to travelers who are on the move. Like many cheap hotels in the area it offers basic amenities at a fair price like many cheap hotels near airport the Econo Lodge SeaTac Airport North offers shuttle service between itself and the airport and try and creates the best value for their guest's dollar. Their rooms feature free Wi-Fi, coffeemakers, microwaves, mini-fridges, and televisions to create a greater sense of home, but if you are willing to splurge you can have a whirlpool tub in your room.

The Richer Side Of SeaTac

SeaTac also offers several luxury locations for travelers to the area. Out many of the luxury hotels around SeaTac, the Hotel 1000 is one of the most polished. This hotel is said to have redefined luxury by offering some truly one of a kind amenities. The hotel tries to make every stay unique for their guests and it does this with amenities like a full-service spa, the BOKA Restaurant, and a virtual Golf Club. Another one of the luxury hotels in SeaTac is the Hotel Monaco Seattle which takes its name and dedication to excellence from one of the world's most sought after destinations. This hotel is over 20 years old and it features things like sumptuous rooms and high-end amenities as well as the world's finest restaurants that will make you happy you choose this hotel over one near the airport.

What's Outside of The Hotel?

Aside from the general beauty of just walking around the SeaTac area there are some other things a tourists or a traveler can do to pass the time. One of them that should not take you too far from most SeaTac hotels is Angle Lake Park. This is a park that fairly lives up to its name with heavenly landscaping and some truly divine views of the city. Then there is the Highline SeaTac Botanical Gardens, which can be seen as either a leisurely stroll through some expertly groomed foliage or an exhaustive look at one of the best Japanese Gardens outside of Tokyo.
