Stayed with my handicap uncle and stayed in a room with queen beds and had plenty of room for his wheelchair without having to get a handicap accessible room

We were only at Mayo Clinic.
This city runs on the Mayo Clinic. The Clinic is doing some amazing work. When the construction is done Mayo will be even better.
If has probably the best hospital in the world. We are fortunate to have Mayo in our state.

Great places to eat and see nearby.
Twigs restaurant is very good
Location to Mayo is great and parking is free for the day when you stay.
Rochester is home to the Mayo Clinic which has some of the best doctors in the country. The city is small enough that it's fairly easy to navigate for those who are coming from out of town.
I loved the feel of downtown. It felt like a very friendly place, bands playing, people cheerful. The Maywood mansion was a great history lesson. Farmers market was great! Thai pop was great and a good share of local restaurants and different ethnic foods.
Easy to find what I needed.
Minnesota-nice was everywhere, especially the shuttle service to the hospitals.
All the restaurants are close by.
The hotel is connected to the Mayo subway. Awesome!

Restaurants and parks!
All good!
Really spent my time in hospital and hotel this trip to The Mayo. But have enjoyed Rochester in the past visits. A great city.
Nice eating places close to St. Mary's Hospital.
Rochester is fairly easy to find your way around. Broadway pizza is fantastic! Try the Chinese food from hyvee, surprisingly very good and affordable. If one of your biggest concerns is having a shuttle service while in Rochester for appointments at Mayo, I'd recommend Centerstone Plaza, the hotel is nothing fancy but their shuttle service is great, it only services their hotel. Parking at St. Marys in the parking ramp is free on the weekends and if you leave after 10pm on the weekdays.
The Uber drivers and restaurant staff were very warm and welcoming!
Mayo Clinic is wonderful!
