Gardena hosts it's Annual Food, Wine, and Cigar Festival in the fall. Peruse under sun-soaked skies while sampling wines, tasty treats, and cigars. Over 80 vendors pack City Hall's lawn. The city also goes all-in for Halloween festivities, hosting a costume contest and dance for the kids as well as several spooky events throughout the city. Other nearby fall events include the LA County Fair, and the Dia de los Muertos Festival.

It appears that the city of Gardena is trying to update and freshen up its main business areas. Many restaurants in the area were very busy. Found service at Marie Calendars to be excellent.
